AMERICAN FLAG THROW + PILLOWS

I adore our American Flag Quilt and have it as a year-round staple in my home. However, I decided to make a throw for certain casual, summertime activities, like bundling up my daughter Maggie on a cool night or setting a simple picnic at the creek.

Today we feature our American Flag Throw as a beautiful and functional accessory that adds Independence Day décor to your home. Constructed from a single layer of 100% organic cotton jersey, rather than two layers, the throw is a lighter weight alternative to our American Flag Quilt. The simple fabric blocks and the clean-lined seams give the throw a modern, fresh appearance. Use daily. Wash on gentle cycle in your machine and throw in the dryer. Use again.

Using our Apple, Carmine, and Burgundy organic cotton jersey for the red stripes and Sand, Doeskin, and Parchment for the white stripes, we mix shades to create the patchwork effect. The stars are cut from White 100% organic cotton jersey fabric with a Navy, Storm, and Denim background.

The throw measures 103” x 62.”

Other great Life + Living accessories for your home include our American Flag Pillow or White American Flag Pillow, both exemplifying the iconography of the American Flag with traditional American style. Adorn a neutral colored sofa or porch swing with the set of pillows.

The Shooting Stars Pillow and the Angie’s Fall Pillow are another pairing of pillows that focus on the colors of Independence Day, rather than the imagery. These could easily be incorporated into everyday home décor and use.

All of our pillows are stuffed with a 50% white goose down and 50% white goose feathers pillow form. The pillowcase has a button closure on back for easy removal.

Mix and match from our selection above, available for purchase in the Life + Living Section of our website, for a festive Independence Day celebration.
