Monday Morning Stories

This Is Where We Live
from 4th Estate

I am only about a year late in posting this...
Some of you might have seen it before BUT beautiful to see again.

I would like to spend this week reading, writing and listening to stories.

Give me music, and I can see.

The music reminded me of sitting in Millenium Park in downtown Chicago in late Spring, waiting for one of the obelisks to open forth and pour water down, down, down to the upturned faces of children. It also made me think of all of the times my family has made the trip to West Virginia to go up on Pifer Mountain to wander the old graveyard and stroke the smooth worn stones where our ancestors' names were carefully sculpted. Opening the window to the study this morning, I turned the speakers of the computer toward the front porch so I could sit in my comfy white rocker out there and listen to this music . . . up on the ridge here in McCalla, it felt perfect so I thank you for sharing.
