Throughout December, shop our collection of organic cotton and signature waffle garments, home goods, accessories, and more alongside other exceptional makers and brands. The Platform Space is located in the Neuhoff District—a vibrant emerging retail destination, home to restaurants recognized by Michelin, James Beard, and Bon Appétit.

The 2026 Project Threadways Symposium continues this exploration through the theme of Regeneration. Presentations, workshops, and exhibitions center on cotton, from soil to shelf to symbol. The School of Making is offering a 2026 Continuing Education Course through the University of North Alabama focused on design, hand-sewing, and embroidery. Instruction includes every hand-sewing, appliqué, and embroidery stitch from The School of Making, plus hand-painting and stenciling tutorials, garment construction, and guidance on independent contractor rules and regulations for hand-sewing.
