The Alabama Fashion Alliance is excited to announce its 2026 Women in Fashion Brunch, celebrating women making an impact in the fashion and beauty industries. The School of Making is offering a 2026 Continuing Education Course through the University of North Alabama focused on design, hand-sewing, and embroidery. Instruction includes every hand-sewing, appliqué, and embroidery stitch from The School of Making, plus hand-painting and stenciling tutorials, garment construction, and guidance on independent contractor rules and regulations for hand-sewing.
