The process is the same for standard appliqué except that the appliqué pieces are cut larger than the stenciled design on the base fabric. Forcing the larger appliqué pieces into a smaller area stenciled on the base fabric naturally wrinkles the appliqué, and these wrinkles remain intact after you iron the completed piece. This stencil may also be used alone as a slightly larger version of the original. Stencil is laser-cut in 10 mil Mylar and measures 22" x 28" with the image size 19" x 24".
