The Annual Campaign

Project Threadways has never existed in isolation.

Every workshop attended, garment sewn, oral history recorded, donation made, and conversation shared has helped build what comes next.

We are grateful.

26 YEARS. 260 CHAMPIONS.

After a year of making, learning, gathering, and building toward what comes next, our team recently put the finishing touches on our 2025 Annual Report. It tells the story of a year of programs, partnerships, economic impact, and progress toward The Maker Lab—and underscores that after 26 years, Project Threadways’ next chapter is no longer an idea. It is underway.

From today through September 30, Project Threadways is launching a campaign to reach 260 individual donors in honor of 26 years of this work.

Our goal is to grow a broad community of supporters who believe in the mission and want to help carry it forward. A gift of any size makes you one of the 260 and supports the people, programs, research, collections, and infrastructure that make this work possible.

The Annual Report shows our work in action, from artisans and education to research, public programming, oral histories, archives, and the future in The Maker Lab.
